Planning continues for things to do and see while you're here for the convention.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Flying to Denver? Take advantage of our United (Official Airline of Denvention) discount (information about a discount from Hertz, too)

We're getting lots of questions about airport shuttles and getting around in Denver. Here is some general information.

FlyDenver ground transportation information

There will be more details in later on the Web site and in Progress Report 4

Taking the train?

Amtrak's California Zephyr comes into Denver. Catch it from the West Coast, or make connections in Chicago. See Amtrak for details.

Driving? Denver is right at the intersection of Routes 70 and 25. Check with AAA, Mapquest or Google Maps for more information. There's plenty of parking in downtown but it will be expensive. Expect to see cheaper out-of-town parking alternatives listed here shortly.

Taking the bus? Greyhound will deliver you.

Please join the Denvention3 LiveJournal community to post questions and your own suggestions for getting here and back again.

Buses, Light Rail and the 16th Street Mall Shuttle

Go to www.rtd-denver.com for schedules and routes for buses and light rail. The 16th Street Mall Shuttle buses run up and down the 16th Street Mall every 90 seconds to 2 minutes (shuttles run more frequently during rush hours and lunch) and is free. There's also information on SkyRide buses that run from the airport into downtown.
