CONJOSÉ, THE 60TH WORLD SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION

FOR RELEASE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2001,

CONJOSÉ ANNOUNCES FORTHCOMING MEMBERSHIP RATE CHANGES

ConJosé, the 2002 World Science Fiction Convention, would like to remind prospective members that it will be increasing its membership rates in July. Effective January 1, 2002, the revised basic membership rates will be as follows:

USD 160, EUR 180, CAD 250, AUD 320, GBP 112

For full details of the existing and new rates, including supporting and child memberships, and discounts for pre-supporters and voters, see the ConJosé web site at: http://www.conjose.org/Member/membership.html.

The current rates are being held until 10 July to allow them to be used at conventions taking place around the 4th July holiday. For a full list of conventions at which ConJosé staff will be present (including Canada and the UK) before the rate increase deadline please see: http://www.conjose.org/Contact/roadtrip.html.

Memberships may also be purchased by mail using checks or credit cards. Downloadable membership forms in PDF format are available for all five currency regions from: http://www.conjose.org/Member/signup.html. Please note that credit card purchases will be charged in US Dollars.

The new US Dollar rates are guaranteed until 31 December 2001. ConJosé reserves the right to adjust rates in other currencies as a result of major changes in international exchange rates.

 


The 2002 Worldcon, known as ConJosé, will take place at the McEnery Convention Center, San José, California from 29 August through 2 September 2002.
