KEVIN STANDLEE TO CO-CHAIR CONJOSÉ

San Francisco Science Fiction Conventions, Inc. (SFSFC), the parent organization of ConJosé, has asked Kevin Standlee to co-chair the convention alongside Tom Whitmore. Standlee and Whitmore will share the duties of bringing a successful World Science Fiction Convention (Worldcon) to San José this coming Labor Day weekend.

"I am delighted to have Kevin working with me on this," said Tom Whitmore. "Chairing a Worldcon is a major undertaking and requires a wide range of skills. I believe that Kevin's abilities complement mine very well, and that we will make an excellent team."

Kevin Standlee was the chair of the Bay Area in 2002 bid committee that won the right to hold the 2002 Worldcon. He is a member of the Board of SFSFC, and was Deputy Chair of ConAdian, the 1994 Worldcon.

"I am honored to have been asked to take on this responsibility," said Standlee. I look forward to working with Tom to put on a top class convention."
