		This was the cover of both the hardback and the paperback of a novel by my sister, C.J. Cherryh. She is known primarily for her science fiction, but I dearly love her fantasy stories. It had been a long time, it seemed to me, since she had written one, and I was thrilled to get an advance copy of the manuscript. I was even more thrilled when I learned that I was going to have the honor of doing the cover for it.
