CONJOSÉ, THE 60TH WORLD SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION

FOR RELEASE SATURDAY, JUNE 9, 2001,

CONJOSÉ MAILS PROGRESS REPORT #2

ConJosé, the 2002 Worldcon, announced today that they mailed Progress Report Two to US members from San Jose, California on Friday June 8th. Overseas mailings will follow shortly. The Progress Report contains updates on the development of the convention as well as a full membership list.

Members are asked to note that the Progress Report has been sent by bulk mail within the USA and may therefore take several days or even weeks to arrive. Copies to other countries will be mailed by Printed Matter Air rate. As usual, in order to reassure members who have not received their copies we would be grateful if those who do get a copy could let us know by e-mail. The ConJosé email discussion list would be a good place to do this. See http://www.conjose.org/Contact/maillists.html for details of how to sign up for this list.

Those of you who can't wait for the postal services to do their job can download a copy of the Progress Report in PDF form from the ConJosé web site. The file is quite large, so a fast connection is advisable. The direct web address is: http://www.conjose.org/Pubs/publications.html.

The 2002 Worldcon, known as ConJosé, will take place at the McEnery Convention Center, San José, California from 29 August through 2 September 2002. More information about ConJosé, including current membership rates, is available from its web site (http://www.conjose.org/) or by writing to info@conjose.org.
